Hirondelle ''Swallow''
A daily companion
Who said a beginner's harp has to sound ''beginner-like''? Not us. The Hirondelle is designed to sound great from day one, and to accompany its harpist well beyond the early lessons.
This is a 38-string nylon-string harp: sturdy, easy to maintain and a pleasure to play. The nylon strings offer a smooth response under the fingers, excellent durability and resilience, which makes day-to-day maintenance straightforward. It is suitable for pupils at music schools and conservatoires, adults who are discovering or rediscovering the harp, and discerning teachers.

Which harp should I choose: the Hirondelle or the Alouette?
If you haven’t yet decided on a musical direction, the Hirondelle is the most natural starting point: nylon strings require less maintenance. If your aim is to follow a classical path with the pedal harp as your ultimate goal, the Alouette provides the best preparation for the sound and technique required for this repertoire. If in doubt, please contact us.
Can we try out the instruments before buying them?
Our workshops are a working space, not open to the public without invitation. Visits can be organised by appointment. Please contact us in advance to arrange a time.
